Internship Credit

If you are interested in gaining independent internship credit through your university for your time in Dominican Republic, please contact us at info@amanpo.org.  We have worked with students in a number of areas and have signed partnerships with several universities and are happy to work with you to obtain credit for your experience.

Students have obtained previously credit in the following fields of study:

• Pre-Health and Pre-Med
• Public and Global Health
• Spanish

Rotations for Medical School

We are happy to work with medical students looking to set up rotations in Dominican Republic.  We have a partnership with the Dominican Ministry of Health and have working relationships with many physicians and hospitals in Punta Cana.

Research Projects

We have worked with a number of students who are looking to complete research projects in Punta Cana, both while they are volunteers and as an independent project.

Past research projects have worked with the direct beneficiaries of our programs as well  as with our partner institutions, including hospitals, clinics, schools and foster homes in Peru and several have received funding for their travel expenses through their university, now you can do the same in the Dominican Republic.
